Meet Mari, a fellow Behavior Momma. We asked her what it is like to bring ABA home as a parent, and here is what she shared:
“To me, you truly understand the fluidity necessary in ABA when you are applying (or trying to apply it) into the home environment as a parent/caregiver. When you have children, I think you immediately realize, ‘Oh crap, doing this 24/7 is NOT the easiest thing in the world. We aren’t robots, and our humanity does show in the form of being tired, losing patience, and sometimes even not knowing what to do!’”
